OBSCURUM PER OBSCURIUS REDUX

Join us as we revisit this performance after its sold out run three years ago. For this iteration of the piece Greg Kowalski created device designed to interact with a Strega synthesizer (described by its makers as an “audio alchemical experiment”). 

Obscurum per Obscurius is a performance that unfolds in blackout conditions. Immersed in complete darkness the audience faces a void broken only by events that test the boundaries of visual perception.

Obscurum per Obscurius - "(explaining) the obscure by means of the more obscure" - is the expression alchemists used to describe their work.
